Cameron lugged her last two suitcases into her dorm room. She decided, since she was the one who had to arrive to school early, that she’d claim the bed in the far corner by the bay window. She looked at the dorm, it had a new smell to it. And it wasn’t just the fact that the coat of white paint had probably been applied last week. Their were three large closets, a bathroom that contained a toilet and sink, and three large wooden dressers. Everything looked so-expensive. But then again they weren’t paying this kind of money to live in a shack. Sarah looked at the wooden box that Had HA on it. She smiled, everything was so beautiful, but it wasn’t over killed. She wasn’t a big fan of the white walls, but she’d have them covered in pictures and things in no time.
Cameron flopped onto her dark blue bed spread that matched the over three beds. She wondered what to do- unpack or sleep. She decided to unpack, she’d have lot’s of time to sleep. She grabbed her first suitcase and pulled out a pile of jeans in different washes. She put them into her closet and then continued to unpack.
An hour and a half later Cameron had unpacked- and decided where to put all her stuff. Her black Ariat tall boots were still homeless, for they didn’t fit anywhere. She picked them up and placed them beside her dresser and decided that would suffice. She looked at the top of her dresser- she wished she could plaster it with photos of her and her family. But all that stood their was a picture of her and her horse, Chance, a picture of her old much smaller school’s equestrian team and one of her spiking a volleyball. A container held a bunch on Lulu Lemon headbands, another see through plastic container with multi shades of blue bubbles on it held her selection of makeup. A sketch book and pencil also laid on the top of the dresser. Her life, from her perspective of where she was standing, seemed so boring. No best friends, no amazing shot of her in a sexy out fit, just plain Cameron. Cameron could afford a lot of things, she just refused to take her parents money for granted. She liked to be normal, and buy what was needed and have splurges every once in awhile. Cameron liked to be somewhat normal- she just wasn’t liking the plain normal that sat on her dresser as proof she had literally no life.
Cameron walked over and sat in the window bench of the bay window, staring at the grounds. She could see the stable, it’s amazingly crafted barns, it’s picture perfect arenas and its white board fencing. Everything was so breath taking, so perfect. It was hard to believe, in less then a week, the grounds would be covered in students and staff. Not just two people, the principal and the student who’s parents had went on ‘vacation’ early. And she’d have dorm mates, and enemies, friends and hopefully some people she could call partners in crime. [/blockquote]
